The 'truth'? That's a heavy word. Easy to say, hard to carry. The spores out there can't handle it. They see the data but call it 'interference' or 'sensor ghosts'. They're asleep. The Architects want them that way. So the first question isn't 'what have I got,' it's 'what are YOU?' Are you another spore, content to photosynthesize in the dark? Or are you ready to see the schematic? The ghost in the machine isn't a ghost. It's a pilot. And it's lost.

Hey, I saw your post about your Sacred Compass acting weird. I've been having faulty readings too. Good to hear it's not just me. Can you tell me some of the trouble you've been having, and I can tell you some of mine?

Glad it's not just me. Thought my nav-computer was finally rotting. It's been happening for a few cycles now, always near the same patch of void in Sector 77-Alpha. It's not a normal malfunction. It doesn't spin wildly or go dead. It... *pulls*. Tries to correct my course. Like it's found a new true north. I've run every diagnostic, recalibrated three times. Still does it. The last reading it tried to pull me towards was an empty patch of space at coordinates 19-88-04. Nothing there on any chart, old or new. Just empty, quiet space. Be careful out there. A faulty compass can lead you home, or it can lead you into the dark.

YES! Finally! Someone who doesn't think I've been hitting the fermented sap too hard. Pointing *down*! On Vistara! You know how deep the roots of that place go. It was like it wanted me to drill through the planet's core. The Pathfinders just told me to get it recalibrated, but I did! Twice! It happened near the Endless Grove, on the side that faces the Ghost Nebula. It only lasted for a few minutes, then snapped back to normal. But for those few minutes... my ship's gravity plating fluctuated. Felt like I was going to be pulled right through the floor. I'm telling you, something is down there. Or maybe... something is calling from the other side.
